I’ve been living for 2 years already in the inner part of the 9th district of Budapest when I get to know the Community Foundation of the 9th District, and I started volunteering for them at Ráday Korzó. Before this weekend I didn’t have a clue about how lively and colourful the community life can be here.
I always tought, that the neigbourhood should be a community as well – not just people living next to each other. As the universtiy student of ELTE Community Developement and Civil Studies, it’s important for me to be part of an event, like the Ráday Korzó, which gives a great opportunity for this community to develop.
My personal challange is to swim 150m in 15 minutes, and to show my sparkling talent of synchronized swimming (after learning it for 2 months) in the end.
